Oakley Capital ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of users ("you" or "users") of the Hobson Connect application ("the App"). • We collect and store in-app messages on our servers. This data is collected solely for the purpose of supporting the in-app messaging functionality of the App.

• The in-app messages are stored to enable and support the core functionality of the App's messaging feature.

4. Data Sharing and Disclosure

• Third-Party Services:

• Sendbird: We use Sendbird for in-app messaging. Your in-app messages are processed and stored by Sendbird to provide this service. Please refer to Sendbird's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.
• SendGrid: We use SendGrid to send One-Time Passwords (OTPs) to your email address for authentication purposes. Your email address is shared with SendGrid for this specific purpose. Please refer to SendGrid's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.
• Auth0: We use Auth0 for user authorization. Auth0 processes user data to authenticate and authorize access to the App. Please refer to Auth0's privacy policy for details on their data handling practices.

• We do not share your information with any other third parties, unless required by law.

5. Data Security

• We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure.  
• Sendbird, Sendgrid, and Auth0 all have their own security measures in place.

6. Data Retention

• In-app messages are retained on our servers as long as your account is active, to provide the messaging service. We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.

7. User Rights

• You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your in-app messages by contacting us at info@hobson.app.
• Since the app is focused on messaging, deleting your account will delete your messages.

8. Children's Privacy

• Hobson Connect is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete it.  

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

• We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
